  I’m trying to reset my password via the ‘forgot password’ option, but I never get the email sent to me.

  I can see your site is not hosted on WordPress.com and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

  The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

  If you don’t receive recovery emails, your hosting provider may be able to assist you.
