Password Reset

  I have tried and tried and tried again to reset my password and it won’t let me. I fill out the password reset form and it tells me that an email has been sent. I checked spam and my regular inbox and nothing. I went to the next step and I entered a transaction ID # and authentication info and it tells me that my blog doesn’t even exist. I can’t log in to my account to post on the forums because I can’t get my password. Please help.

  How do I create another blog on .org? Do I have to download the software because they are asking me to log in to submit a question and that is the quintessential problem I can’t log in.

  Your blog login is not related to WordPress.ORG – WordPress.ORG does not host blogs

  You need to pick a user name and create an account at WordPress.ORG can be the same email and name as here if you want or any other name that is not taken – once you have an account at WordPress.ORG you can ask questions in the help forum

  I am not having such good luck. I registered at .org. I did not get a validation email. I asked for my validation email to be resent. I have done it three times already and nothing.

  The stars don’t seem to be working in my favor. Do you have a number to someone I might call so they might help me? I would appreciate your help.

  We can’t help you with WordPress.org questions. If you want to HIRE a consultant, I’m sure they’d be available to take client calls on a Saturday evening, but we also can’t help you find a consultant for WordPress.org. It’s a completely different system than WP.com.

  I’m afraid I didn’t ask the right question. I’m just trying to log on to .org to ask a question in the forum. A consultant isn’t going to be able to get me a password to log in is he/she? I registered and they didn’t send me a confirmation email. How do I get a confirmation email is all I’m asking. I have filled out the form three times and they haven’t sent me an email yet.
