Password reset does not work

    I am having a very frustrating time. I subscribe to a number of blogs and want to unsubscribe from some. I have lost my password but every time I try to use the password recovery form I receive the msg that the username does not exist. This can’t be as I am still receiving notifications at the email I use. I also tried the recover account procedure which did not work either. yes, this is about some wordpress.com subscriptions, not wordpress.org
    Thanks for any help. I would be happy to just delete the account, it is too frustrating.
