Password reset link isn’t working on a recovered yahoo account
-
I am trying to log in to my WordPress website, but I am not receiving the password reset links in the Yahoo email associated with the account. I had lost this Yahoo account previously due to inactivity and had it reinstated. From what I am reading, Yahoo blocks password reset links on recovered accounts, even for the original owners of said email accounts. I couldn’t even log in to this forum using that email address, as it wouldn’t send me a link to verify my email! Here’s my dilemma – the business for which I created the page is shutting down, and I need to take down the website. How can I change the email on the webpage so I can shut it down, or can someone at WordPress shut it down for me? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yahoo only blocks reset password links of a recovered Yahoo account; this has nothing to with your wordpress account.
First things first: what is the URL of your site?

The blog I need help with is: maplewoodstables.wordpress.com, and I am not getting the password reset emails to change the password. I am unable to use the account recovery form because I no longer have the required Transaction ID/Activation Key/Auth Codes. What can I do to just shut the site down permantently?
