Password Reset Link Redirects to Lost Password Page Without Accepting the Key
-
I’m having an issue with the WooCommerce password reset feature on my site.
When a customer tries to reset their password, the email is sent successfully and includes a link like this:
https://example.com/my-account/lost-password/?key=TesT6tVyRXUrjIH8sfag&login=usernameHowever, when the link is clicked, it just reloads the Lost Password page with the following URL:
https://example.com/my-account/lost-password/?show-reset-form=true&actionThe customer is not able to reset their password because the reset key and login parameters are not recognized or processed. It seems like WooCommerce is ignoring them and not showing the password reset form. What I’ve checked so far:
- WooCommerce and WordPress are up to date
- Pretty permalinks are enabled and refreshed
- No security plugins appear to be blocking it
- I checked for template overrides and found no custom
lost-password.phpfile in my theme - The reset URL is being generated using WooCommerce’s
get_password_reset_key()andwc_get_page_permalink('myaccount')
Despite all that, the password reset still fails to work as expected. What I need:
I would appreciate guidance on why the reset link isn’t working, and what I can do to fix the issue or properly direct users to the reset form with their key recognized.
Thank you for your help!
