Password retrieval / login problems

Hello, I started a website in February and I did not do much work on it then. I am now ready to work on it more and I can edit my pages in WordPress fine but when I click the preview button I am taken to another WordPress sign-in page and neither my username nor the email address lets me log in. When I try the link to ‘I forgot my password’ I get the message that there is no user registered under both, my username and my email address. How can this be? I was getting email correspondence from WordPress to that very email address. I hope there is a quick fix. I appreciate your help. Thank you very much! ~Sabine

Your website is hosted on blueshost.com and we’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
For help with that site you will want to post in the WordPress community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/

Thank you very much for your response! That was exactly the problem. I had to log in via Bluehost and then was able to edit and preview through WordPress. Problem solved!
