Password retrieval sent but not usable
-
Hi –
I’ve reregistered as ekbuckley from my operational but unaccessable account – since I’ve not been able to access wordpress – so I can ask around for help on how to get back my control of the account. My site was hacked, and since I have been blocked from accessing the wordpress account with an invalid password & username. Although the password retrieval appears to work with the old username, when I get the email I receive a garbled line of numbers and letters.

When I get the password retrieval, I quickly receive 2 emails in response with different sequences of keystrokes like this one: TG9naW46IGNoYXJjbzINClBhc3N3b3JkOiAwMGM3N2INCmh0dHA6Ly9jaGFyY29sbC5jb20vYmxv
Zy93cC1sb2dpbi5waHA=. (Including the return & period.) Can anyone let us back in, or do we tank the blog and start over?
A million thanks – and I’ll send a drawing to anyone who helps me get back in there… cheers, e.k. buckley
