Password typo on startup of new account

  Hi! While helping a friend set up his new wordpress account, we accidently put a typo in his email address. How to fix this, please? Thanks!

  Thank you for the reply! Sadly, my friend got frustrated and gave up. He is now out of town and won’t be back for a week or so. I guess we’ll have to wait until he returns to see if he’s still interested in wordpress.

  I was setting up a new account and think that I might have misspelled the email address because I have not gotten an email for activation.
  The username is rootsoftransformation.wordpress.com

  Now I can do nothing. Is it possible that I can get the email address provided removed so I can start over and get it right ?

  I feel so much better about using WordPress, I think I have the hang of it. Thanks.

  That particular account has already been activated via email.
