  How do I password protect my site so that when anyone clicks on the address they’ll be asked for a password?

  Hi there,

  You can’t password-protect the entire site, but you can password-protect individual posts and pages:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/

  Alternatively, you can make the entire blog Private and invite only specific users to view it:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
