First clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies.
Then log in again under the exact same username account that registered the site and see here please https://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/

Thank you.
Whatever happened to the so-called Happiness Support at WordPress? It used to be so easy to contact them and get something fixed.

All support docs are at https://en.support.wordpress.com/
There is no phone support and none is required as we all read and write. See here for all the support options when you have wordpress.COM technical support issues see https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/
Those who have a paid upgrade for a wordpress.COM site can use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ where they will receive a choice of having staff answer your question publicly or privately.
The best WordPress.COM contact form to use now for Staff assistance is:
http://wordpress.com/help/contact
Live chat will be available there if we have Happiness Engineers available to chat. When they are not available using that link results in posting to this peer support forum. https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/re: direct email support
Also note, that you can email WordPress.COM Staff at: -
Hi there,
You might also be getting that message if you’re using a password on our list of weak or popular passwords. If you use a long password containing letters, numbers and a few special characters you should not get that error message. See the Strong Password link @timethief provided above for more information.
