paste function not working

  The paste function isn’t working. I have an article in my word processor (Pages from Mac) which I am attempting to copy and paste into wordpress, but nothing happens when I try to paste. I´ve never had this problem before and cannot figure out what the problem is. I have tried using several different browsers, but the paste function doesn’t work in any of them. I can paste into other websites: email, Facebook, etc…just not into wordpress.

  Have you tried the Paste as Text button in the post editor? Are you trying to paste it into the New Post interface in the Reader or the main post editor in the Dashboard at Posts ->Add New?

  You can also try pasting your article in a plain text editor and then try pasting it to WordPress.

  Also please make sure you’re using the latest version of your browser and you’re using one of the browsers shown here: http://browsehappy.com/

  Let us know if none of that works.

  This appears to be an issue with a large amount of blogs, so I’m tagging this thread for staff. Please be patient while waiting for them to respond.
