Pasting arabic text

    Hello,

I am having a problem when pasting Arabic (right to left) text:

When I have a long text (multiple paragraphs in Arabic) inside the block editor, each paragraph takes a block. The problem is that the text is pasted from left-to-right, and I would have to change each block individually to right-to-left.

    Any solutions to this please?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi emerbemer1,

The problem is that the text is pasted from left-to-right, and I would have to change each block individually to right-to-left.

I can’t see any draft or published posts on emer.food.blog yet. Is this the site you are working on or is there another one you need help with? If so, what is the address?

Just let me know and we can go from there.

    Hi,

I actually don’t mind fixing the direction of each block in Arabic to go RTL. The problem which I’m having is that the full stop at the end of the sentence bets placed at the right side of the line, not the left side which is the end of the Arabic text.

    Can anyone help?

  • Sorry about that, would you please let us know the source of where you’re copying from? That will give us the best change to reproduce the exact issue.

Thanks for your reply. It’s from Microsoft Word. The same also happens with text after clearing all formatting.

  • Hi there,

Are you referring to emer.food.blog? Because I don’t see any content published on that blog.
