Pasting code from Word

    I write my posts in MS Word.
    When I paste my entries from Word, the formating goes away.
    This is bad in particular when it comes to code excerpts.

    Any sugestions?

    P.S. – I have another blog on MSN that deals greatly with this issue.

    the editor in wp is not meant to be copied from word, you have to edit codes from thr itself or manually insert them(eg. < strong > < /strong >). if the msn blog deals with this issue better, it doesn’t make it any better than wp – i mean there is a reason you’ve created a blog with wp right?

    besides how hard could it be to edit codes in the wp editor?

    Which editor are you using? I would suggest using (I can’t believe I’m saying this) the rich text editor in this case. Do remember though that Word puts out a lot of speciallzed HTML code in its output which doesn’t tranlate well to non-Microsoft product or browsers.
