pasting from Word docs

Until recently, I used a Paste from Word option when making new posts, which kept enough formatting for my purposes. Can’t now find it on the toolbar options, or the Kitchen Sink option which led me to it. Has it been removed?

The Paste From Word feature was removed recently. You should be able to paste directly into the editor now. Please read this for more info: http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/

Well, thanks. I’ve looked at the guidance you recommend and I’m not entirely happy but I understand I have to find a different way of doing things. I don’t like working direct into WordPress because it is slow, at least through my connection, and takes me back to the top of the text every time I make a change. And I can’t see how the new Paste As Plain Text option is going to help me much. I mention these grumbles in case a WordPress adviser might read this?
