pasting information in blog

Hi, I’m trying to paste information in my blogs, but the function ctrl+V is not working and my computer has not command key to apply command + V as suggested. Any ideas?

That’s strange. It could be keyboard issue. Is the ctrl+v function working fine on other sites? Is it broken only on WordPress.com?
Also, just to clarify, Command+V is for Mac/Apple computers. Ctrl+V is for Windows and other computers/keyboards.
I tried using the mouse’s right click interface to use the “paste” option available there. But, it does not seem to be working on the content area of the WordPress.com editor. It works only on the title area of the WordPress.com editor. I am tagging the post with “modlook” for the WordPress.com staff’s attention so they can take a note of this.
In the meantime, please check if the Ctrl+V is not working only on WordPress.com for you.

Please let me know if you’re using WordPress.com through the web browser or app. Are you able to use the mouse to paste?
Right click > Copy —- then Right click > Paste
