Pasting issues on only some pages but not all.

I’ll spent a couple hours reading about others having pasting issues, but none that I’ve read resemble my issue.
On some pages (not all) I can’t paste text after I successfully paste a URL link. It doesn’t matter what link I use. The issue remains the same. When I delete the link, the issue goes away, whereupon I’m able to once again paste anything, including another link, but then the problem returns.

BTW, the site I’m working on is not yet live, and the theme is Forestly.

Okay, I just realized that once I paste ANY text in the editor of only some pages, pasting subsequently is impossible, albeit there’s no issues with simply typing in text.
This is so puzzling.

What are the URLs of the pages you experienced this on?
Are you running a browser and version of it found at http://browsehappy.com? If not, please upgrade.If that does not help then please provide this specific info:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
(c) Exactly what you experience including exactly what any error reports you receive state.
(d) Screenshots can be helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.Then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. This is not a WordPress.com site. It’ll be self-hosted. The site currently only resides on my computer not at HostGator et al.
I assumed this was a WordPress forum for all WP issues and not just for those having issues with their wp.com sites. Please correct me if I’m mistaken.

That’s an incorrect assumption.
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and that one is not among them. Our support docs do not apply to (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM. Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
