Pasting text

  I’m trying to add a new part using my tablet. It seems impossible to paste text. Is there a way?

  Failing that, if I re key it, how do I get single line spacing. As it’s poetry, I don’t want a paragraph space between every line.

  Any answers, please?

  You get single line spacing by holding down the Shift key when you hit Enter.

  Are you using an app or are you using a browser and if so which? Paste works differently on each.

  Generally speaking, it is futile to use Paste to try to control formatting. Paste the text if you must, then format it.

  Thanks, raincoaster. I’m using Firefox. Maybe I need to download an app, do I? I’ve always used my laptop before, so I’m trying to do the same stuff but without a traditional keyboard.
