Pasting Word document into WordPress blog

  I am attempting to copy a document which I have created in Word, into my WordPress blog. Maybe I should shouldn’t have started from there, but I did and I have! Creating the blog is no problem, but each time I try to paste the Word doc into my blog, it copies it into the blog header (title) – yes all 650 words of it and not into the body of the blog. What am I doing wrong, I wonder? Any advice would be appreciated. James B
