Pat on head posting

  I just got a nice little pat on my head after posting. “You published your 3rd post on this blog!”

  Okay, it was nice the first time. The second time I got just a bit leery about it. The third time, I’m beginning to wonder when this headpatting will stop. The tenth time? The hundredth time?

  Please, take it away after the first time. After all, I am not a little puppy with wet eyes. I am not going to wag my tail for Daddy WordPress, no matter how much I get my head patted.

  Also, If I create several blogs, like many do, will I get the same pats on my head for every new blog?

  Go to https://wordpress.com/settings/account/ and scroll down and disable:
  Instant Post Feedback _ Show the feedback and progress sidebar after posting
  “save changes”

  Yes I did that. I just wondered, because I seem to remember reaching that screen through dashboard in the early beginning.
