patchyderm Background colour

Hi,
months ago I picked the patchyderm theme ancd changed the background colour to turquise. I changed my header picture/ Logo and now I want to set the background colour back to default settings. But it doesn’t work. I know I have to purchase the premium to make a new colour sheme, but I only want to set it back to default settings. And it doesn’t work. What can I do ? In the meantime I changed the theme a few times, to see if patchyderm sets back to default but it doesn’t.

You do not need an upgrade in this case. See here https://wordpress.com/themes/pachyderm/ and note the theme has a “custom background” feature.

I upgraded the theme from the link. It shows the default setting everytime when I’m in the settings and background colour menu. But everytime I click on “show my website” it shows the turquise background. Even though I didn’t change the settings, since I did the upgrade. :(

Pachyderm is a free theme and you cannot upgrade any theme version here at wordpress.COM; only Staff can do that.
So what is the URL of the actual site starting with http:// you are referring to please?

Sorry. I’m confused. There are no infos about where my problem can come from neither on the support docs or on the patchyderm theme page and I’m not sure what to do now.
I’m not a native english speaker as you may see… thats causing problems too ^^
