Patreon widget?
-
Does anyone know how to make a widget for a patreon account or how to link in an already existing one?
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There isn’t a widget as far as I see. Your best bet for now would be to use a ‘support me on Patreon’ graphic and add a link so clicking it takes them to your Patreon page.

You might want to look at this post as well https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/create-your-own-widget/

If you are referring to this site https://www.patreon.com/ please note that we cannot post any JavaScript or iframe widgets on wordpress.com hosted blogs. We have code restrictions and the software will strip those codes out. https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
That is why stormvisions made the suggestions he did above.
Also know that no blogger initiated advertising for driving traffic to third party sites is allowed here on wordpress.COM hosted blogs. PPC is not allowed. Affiliate marketing banners and any and all advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com are not allowed.
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains with a strong enough traffic flow to be accepted into the program.

@timethief my understanding of Patreon is that is a crowdfunding site for artists. For example someone like Howard Tayler who provides a free online comic creates a page https://www.patreon.com/SchlockMercenary and people can donate which allows him to cover expenses so he can keep offering his free comic strip. It would probably be worthy of a widget if enough artists and creative types are using WordPress.com as it actually provides millions of dollars each month to creative types. I imagine it would be in great demand. Nevertheless a simple link would work for starters. :)

@stormvisions
Aha! Thanks for the additional information. I appreciate it.Another approach is that andthegeekshall could create a custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#1-create-a-custom-menu and then add a custom link https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#adding-custom-links to their Patreon profile page into it.
