Pattern display in dashboard in 6.6.1
-
Hello! I use hundreds of patterns and I’m on my way to using thousands. It was great when patterns displayed in the dashboard the same way posts display — as a simple list, sorted alphabetically, on one line each, showing the folder they’re in. Is there a way to get that back? Even as a the new-style “list” (as opposed to “grid”), it’s bulkier and not as user-friendly, and to mimic the old way (which you can’t), you have to do three things every time you want to use it — select list, then select alpha, then 100 (or whatever) per page. If it must be the new way, then at a minimum, is there a way to set the defaults? It won’t remember my last instructions.
The other problem I’m having is this: Lately, within a post, it can’t find my patterns half the time. I’m guessing it’s because the display is so much bulkier. Now, I create a post, try to add a pattern, it’s not there, then I have to save and exit and come back in and hope it’s there the next time. (No, there is nothing wrong with my system or Internet connection. Patterns always worked perfectly right up until 6.6.1.) Help!
