Pattern Matching Error
-
Hi there,
I purchased 15 credits to have my own domain, but I got the following error message when trying to finish registration:
“Registration failed. Your credits have not been spent. Please go back and correct the following.
sa2: Pattern Matching Error: ^[a-zA-Z0-9-.,’#*@/& ]*$
sa2: Pattern Matching Error: ^[a-zA-Z0-9-.,’#*@/& ]*$
sa2: Pattern Matching Error: ^[a-zA-Z0-9-.,’#*@/& ]*$
sa2: Pattern Matching Error: ^[a-zA-Z0-9-.,’#*@/& ]*$”How can I sort this out? Please note that I’m new in WordPress, so this might be a simple issue…
Thanks!

Since staff is currently on holiday break, there’s little we can do but hope that Mark sees this thread. (Maybe we should have made a Mark tag?) It’s really a backend issue that we here in teh forums don’t have access to. You an try sending in an email to support at this domain and see if you can raise someone that way.
What’s the domain name you’re trying to get in there anyway? Maybe there’s an issue with that. (That’s my first though when i see this)

I don’t see any issue with that. I was expecting something like extra periods or dollar signs or somesuch.
I’m going to add the modlook tag to this and see if we can raise Mark.

That “pattern matching error” was probably due to some unrecognized characters in your address or some other registration field. I attempted the registration and it went through just fine.
