Pause Account

I was a little eager getting my website started and now things are delayed due to Covid, so I don’t have a use for it yet. Can I pause my account so I stop getting charged until I am ready to use it? I haven’t done anything with it, and I just keep spending money on something I can’t even use yet.

I think you can cancel your subscription and your data will not be deleted, when you reactivate your subscription you will get your website data and start working again.

When did you purchase a WordPress.com plan? There is only a 30 day refund window. After that point if you cancel you won’t get any refund. Did you register a custom domain? There is also what happens to that to consider.

I don’t see any purchased plan or website associated with the forum account you’re posting here with.
Did you perhaps sign up to WordPress.com with another email earlier and make purchases with that account?
It is also possible you’ve created this WordPress site using a non WordPress.com hosting provider.
