  There has been a misunderstanding on our behalf concerning our domain name and payment. I would like to have our domain name and registration be with BlueHost. I would like someone to re-point the name servers to BlueHost at the following addresses;

  ns1.bluehost.com 162.159.24.80
  hs2,bkuehost.com 162.159.25.175

  I would like everything under one company instead of the 3; Wild West, WordPress, and BlueHost.
  That is why I am asking to re-point the servers. I can not afford to have my website ‘non existent.’ Please let me know if there is anything you need me to do?

  paxcenter.org expired on the 19th March 2017 when presumably you didn’t renew with WordPress/Wild West Domains. That domain is now in the redemption period. That will be followed by the Pending Delete period. So sometime perhaps in June the address will be released and you will have the opportunity to register it elsewhere (if someone else doesn’t buy the domain before you do). It may have been better to talk to staff about what you wanted to do earlier. I have added modlook for staff to advise you further.

  @themagicrobot is correct – I checked with our registrar and paxcenter.org is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

  Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
  the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

  Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.

  I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

  I want to renew the domain and pay the fees you have noted. I do not want to risk losing my domain and so do not want to wait until the redemption period is over. What do I do next? Visit the support page?

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore paxcenter.org to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

  Darnell, how long between posts should I usually expect to hear something? I don’t want to miss getting the website back up. And after I pay the late and renewal fees, how long will it take for the site to come live again? Thank you! Rama

  I should also mention that I spoke with Go Daddy and they were able to assure me that the domain name is there but of course needing to be retrieved or “redeemed”. I await your next steps.
