  is there an option to pay by monthly instalments or does it have to be an annual fee?

  also I am struggling to add the check out basket feature.. how do I do this?

  Hi there,

  There isn’t an option to pay monthly at this time. All plans are billed yearly and due at the time of upgrading.

  When you say check out basket, are you asking about PayPal? If so, this support document help explains each step in detail.

  hi,

  Yes the PayPal option worked great, thank you!

  As I am trying to build a store website rather than a blog am I using the completely incorrect thing?

  I have now added the paypal option however I need some sort of plug in to take the shipping details when buying, and is there not an option to add everything to one basket then check out?

  as it is a store the likelihood of having someone buy more than one item at a time is high so would need this to prevent several shipping costs.

  With the PayPal option here, you’re unable to use any of the customization options, like drop-down menus or text fields.

  Another option you have is to set up your storefront elsewhere online and create a custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ with a custom link https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#adding-custom-links to that site.

  If neither of these options work for you, then you would want to consider setting up a self hosted site using the WordPress.org software. You will have the ability to set up a shopping cart, install plugins, etc. https://wordpress.org/
