  I need to pay for the invoice however it’s attached to a user who is no long with the organization.

  My domain name expires in 20 hours. I have access to the account however I can’t renew the domain name. The domain name is savingatriskanimals.org
  Please help! I have no access to the previous user mlindorff.

  Hi there,

  Domains don’t stop working the moment they expire, and you can still renew a domain without having to pay any additional fees for up to 42 days after expiration, so you still have time to sort this out.

  That said, only the account that owns a domain can renew it. The domain, savingatriskanimals.org, was bought by an individual under their own name and using their personal contact information, and a personal credit card. The account that owns that domain also owns the WordPress.com site connected to that domain.

  If you need to take over management of that domain and site, the only way that can happen is if the owner of the mlindorff account transfer the site and domain to you. Unfortunately we cannot make this transfer at your request.
