  pay pal button when copied in post or widget and save is clicked code disappears and button will not go on site.

  You should be able to insert a PayPal button following the instructions here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  Please follow step #9 carefully. That explains how to avoid having the button automatically removed.
