pay per view
-
Hi! I would like to install a per view type of content on my website (a pay per article would be a better description), and I don’t want to have to allow individually each request. How can I install this on wordpress?

Hi @wewomenarestrong, I’m not sure whether this would be an exact fit, but have you considered this?
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/premium-content-block/That’s more of a pay-for-the-site kind of situation, but it will work on all paid plans here.
If you wanted to have more of a store where individuals can purchase different articles, you might like WooCommerce with digital downloads. I’d recommend reaching out to WooSales with more details to be sure this would fit your needs:
https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/#sales-formJust bear in mind, if you have outside plugins you’d like to install on our managed hosting service, you will need our Business plan, because outside plugins and themes add complexity to our support and maintenance.

Hi @supernovia , thank you for your detailed answer!
I’m not 100% sure that https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/premium-content-block/ is the exact solution to my question, but it gives me a lot to think about.
I think I will upgrade my plan to the Business one when I will be closer to the site release date, that way I will get more support and maintenance, as you are saying :)
