Paying bill past due

I have a bill past due, and now WordPress is saying the account has never existed. I have an old account, which I have gained access to, but my account information for my current domain is not available. Any thoughts?

The blog I need help with is NOT haveyouseenmary.wordpress.com. It is simply haveyouseenmary.com.

Are you referring to renewing haveyouseenmary.com?

If so, I checked with our registrar and haveyouseenmary.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.

I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore haveyouseenmary.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

Thanks for getting my site back up and running. Now, I’m trying to pay my domain bill and have not been able to through my dashboard in my account at wordpress.org. Do I need to go to wordpress.com? If so, my wordpress.org log-in for haveyouseenmary.com is not being recognized by wordpress.com. The log-in and password I have used to begin this forum is for a different website name that has not been used in five years.

All I want to do is pay my bill, and make sure it remains automated, for the site haveyouseenmary.com.

You’d pay for the domain on the WordPress.com end since it is registered with us.

In the future, you will pay for the domain under the account you are contacting me from. in the manage purchases section.
