Paying for domain name twice

  Hello, I got an email recently saying my domain connection with wordpress.com has been renewed and the money has gone from my account. However, I already pay for my domain name through my website host (tsohost). I don’t remember ever connecting it through this website and I don’t understand what I have been charged for. Can anyone explain why I am paying twice for my domain name?

  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there!

  Bear in mind that the domain connection becomes paid without any site plan. There is still an active connection subscription on your account.

  To cancel it please follow these steps:

  • Go to Manage Purchases section https://wordpress.com/purchases
  • Click on the domain connection
  • Click “Cancel” option from the bottom
