Paying Redemption Fee

my domain, yogawithmarca.com, is expired in a redemption period and I need to pay the fee to get it back up. Need to know where to pay the fee and the annual subscription ASAP

I am so grateful. I have sent support at wordpress the payment email because they are reviewing my case to possible waive the fee since they mislead me in a previous email stating that my subscription would autorenew and no action was required on my part.

Hi there,
I looked into the issue and back on 4/11, your credit card transaction was declined by the bank that issued your credit card. This can happen for a variety of reasons, although we’re not able to see why. Some of the reasons are:
* Credit Card hasn’t been activated yet
* Closed credit card account
* Account is over the limit
* Account is past due
* Automated fraud alertThe last reason above, an automated fraud prevention block, is the most common. Usually you just need to call your bank and let them know you want to make a purchase on WordPress.com, and they can get the block removed right away. I’m not sure if you had issues with your card, but that is the notification we received from PayPal.
I see the attempted renewal on your account – it has the code:
15005: Processor Decline (This transaction cannot be processed.)According to our payment processor, PayPal, that code means: “The transaction was declined by the issuing bank, not PayPal. The merchant should attempt another card.”
A couple of things you may want to try:
• Contacting the issuer of your card to see if they can offer any further information
• Using a different card
• Using a PayPal accountWe usually send several notifications of this credit card decline – it looks like this led to your domain not being renewed and expiring, which led to the fee.

There should really be some verbiage alerting your users to check their payment info rather than the “nothing is required on your part” statement which misleads the user and thus results in this “highway robbery” fee. Also, I never received more than this email to alert me. I’ve paid the annual subscription fee even though I plan to leave WordPress ASAP. I am still contesting the redemption fee due to lack of notice and misleading advice. I believe this is a very “scammy” way to operate and as soon as this is resolved I will be transferring my domain elsewhere. You have been very helpful but otherwise, WordPress is most lacking in the customer service department.

We checked our email system and emails were sent out to you on 5/3, 5/6, and 5/10 in regards to renewing your site before expiration. Have you checked your spam folder? Also, with gmail, if you have the social tab enabled, the emails end up there at times.
I will email you and see what we can do to take care of this.

I checked spam and social and didn’t find the emails. I will pay the annual subscription even though I plan on moving the domain to squarespace this week. I appreciate that the $80 fee will be waived.

Our Staff do not have the ability to waive any redemption fee as the fee is set by the domain registrar and not by wordpress.COM.
