  I need to pay a redemption fee and renew my website, southgatecatering.com. How do I do this?

  Just to add that if your domain is registered through WordPressdotcom and in the redemption period, the domain registrar imposes an additional $80 fee for recovery on top of the domain registration itself. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

  Staff will need your agreement to pay this fee prior to starting the recovery process.

  Hi there,

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore southgatecatering.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

  Our registry partner got back with us – the domain has passed through the redemption period successfully and is free to be registered again:

  When following your instructions, I searched for southgatecatering.com. It says that that site has been taken. Please advise

  It sometimes take a day or so for our system to update once a domain is freed from redemption. Please try again in about 24 hours. If that doesn’t work, I’ll see what I can do on this end.
