  Hi, I have been blogging since last year, and suddenly the website has asked me for a payment of £60. I thought it was a free blog and am not sure why I have been sent this notification? Thanks,

  Hi there – It looks like an upgrade was added to your WordPress.com account shopping cart. If you do not need the Personal plan, visit the link below please:

  https://wordpress.com/checkout/mewritescom.wordpress.com?order-review=true

  Once there, look for the grey trashcan icon to the right of the Personal plan price. Click on that icon to remove it from your cart, which should remove the notification you are seeing.
