    Hello,

    I once made a wordpress website using Elementor as builder, where the whole process was free. When I try to download Elementor, WordPress says that I have to upgrade to Business Planner. I did not have to do that last time. Is there any way to get around this, or is it how it works now? :)

    Hi,

    Plugins have never been available on the free WordPress.com plan. So perhaps you had hosted your site elsewhere and used the free WordPress software from WordPress.org? Of course, even then, you’d have had to pay for hosting somewhere. So it would not have been totally free.
