Yesterday afternoon I applied for a domain name, JESUS.COM, I chose a theme and paid $99 for an upgrade to the premium plan. I was interrupted and it was several hours before I could get back to my computer. However when I returned I entered it Jesus.com and receive the message that the name was already assigned and I could not gain access. This morning I started over I picked a new domain name; walk on water with Jesus. What I would like is the return of my $99 or confirmation that I can upgrade ‘walk on water with Jesus’to the premium plan which is what I really desire. Please help, I will go no further until I hear from you a satisfaction answer to my previous payment of $99 and upgrading my new domain name to the premium plan. Refunds have time limits. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. I don’t see any upgrades in your account. Your account was created 21 hours ago and contains one site, http://walkonwaterwithjesus.wordpress.com/, and no upgrade has ever been purchased with this account. If you made a payment using a different username account, please post here as that account and I’d be happy to investigate further.
Besides being registered with Gandi.com, the domain Jesus.com has been registered with them since 23 October 1994 and only expires in 2019, so there is no way you’d be able to register that domain anywhere, and no way that it would show as available on the WordPress.com domains screen.
The free address, jesus.wordpress.com, has been in use since 2005, so there is also no way that you’d be able to register that address.
