  I don’t understand why when I’m trying to make a premium account, it’s trying to charge me $99 when I thought I would be paying $8.25 per month.

  Hi,

  All WordPress.com paid plans are charged annually, which is why you’re seeing the $99 charge rather than $8.25. You can see this on our Pricing page.

  The note about being charged annually is directly underneath the price listed for each plan.
