  Hi, We have problems to register payment. We thought we managed it a month ago, but obviously it didn’t work. Please advice us how to pay the annual fee.

  @lillarnesen, unfortunately this domain expired a while ago and is in redemption now. The registrar charges an extra $80 (in addition to the renewal fee.)

  Ref. your e-mail dated May 11, 2018 where you informed us about the expired blog for lillarnesen.no.

  In the e-mail you stated that by paying another yearly fee of $13.00 our blog would again be available. We tried to do it, but we couldn’t get it to work. We then contacted your “contact support”. In your response you stated that we had to pay an additional amount of $80.00 to get the blog available. We don’t understand this since it was not mentioned in the referenced e-mail.

  About a month prior to the expire date we got a warning and we tried to pay it. We believed the payment was accepted but obviously it was not. So, is there any alternative to us paying the $80?

  Hi there,

  lillarnesen.no is not registered with WordPress.com. You did not provide a domain in your original post, so my colleague assumed you were referring to your old domain, lillarnesen.com, which is currently in redemption.

  We no longer sell domain mapping upgrades on their own. The renewal email you received mentioning the cost of $13 is if you renewed the mapping upgrade while it was still on your account, but once that upgrade expires and is removed the only way to add it back is as part of a paid plan.

  I see you also had a Personal Plan on your account, which you’d used to originally buy lillarnesen.com. When you cancelled that domain you added the domain mapping for lillarnesen.no using the free domain in that plan.

  To re-add that domain mapping, please buy a new Personal Plan at My Site ->Plans, and then you will be able to add the mapping upgrade from My Site ->Domains.
