  hi i dont want to pay the full amount for premium as i am unsure if it is what i need so why can i not pay it monthly instead of annually

  All WordPress.com plans are need to paid at once for a year. There is no option to pay monthly.

  If your requirements are not met then you have option to ask for refund within 30 days of purchase of plan.
