  Hi, I have already bought a domain name and web hosting. So when I click on web mapping WordPress are now charging me a monthly fee? I wanted to use the free WordPress website builder?

  any advice would be appreciated!

  What is the domain address you are talking about? It sounds like you may have gotten hosting and your site at a different web host than WordPress.com. I do not see any upgrades or subscriptions on your account here at this time.

  I see that you have this site here at WordPress.com, https://eatingwellnotless.wordpress.com/, which is on the free plan, and you can use that as you desire.

  If you wish, you can purchase the WordPress.com Personal Plan and then map the domain that you purchased to your site here.

  I have bought a domain name and web hosting plan from Reg123 – which I thought then meant I could use the free plan through WordPress along and my web address would be: http://www.eatingwellnotless.co.uk ? I didn’t think I had to pay anything more than domain name and web hosting

  Hi there,

  If you have already bought hosting, then you can use that and install the open-source WordPress.org software. There’s no need to have a site here.

  For more information on how to install WordPress, I suggest contacting your hosting provider.
