  Hi! I’m new to this and trying to check out… it’s giving me my full total for the year but the plan is monthly… I’m not going to be charged for the entire year at checkout correct? Just for the first month and then set up with auto payments?

  No. I’m afraid all upgrades are charged annually (or for 2 years) in advance at WordPress.com. There are no monthly payment plans.
