Payment

Hi, I think I need to make a payment but it won’t take the credit card. Can you let me know if money is due and what you need? Thank you

Hi there – I’m not able to find any upgrades, charges or attempted payments on the account you used to create this forum topic.
Could you pass me the URL of the site you believe has a payment due?

Hi, Dean, I’ve lost track of it. I haven’t been on the site in years. I don’t know if I’m doing things correctly in order to edit a previously published story. I thought I should click on Edit Menus. So I did. And the screen attempts to load Customizer and fails. Is this because I owe any money? Am I uptodate on my payments? What do I need to do to edit a story? Thank you, Dean. Chris

I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under your account here.
Are you sure you don’t know the URL of the site you’re trying to pay for?
A URL is how you find the site online, like https://wordpress.com or https://jetpack.com and https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/payment-951/ is the URL of this this.

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Westhost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With all that said though, if you need to pay anything for something, it would be Westhost, not us. :)
