  Hello. I am comparing the WordPress.com plans.
  Please explain the meaning, and difference, between the options ‘Payment’ and ‘Pay with PayPal’ (located in the Marketing and Monetization section). Thank you.

  Payments uses Stripe and works with a Personal plan, Pay with PayPal needs a Premium plan. See:

  Thank you very much for your response. Please excuse my ignorance, but I am very new to the scene.

  I intend to offer a blog-writing service on my WordPress.com website (I write the blog and they pay me to use it on their website).

  I want to charge for this service. Can this be done with the ‘payment’ option in the Personal plan? Or do I need to have the Premium plan with the ‘PayPal’ option to do this?
