    If you said i have grace period of 1yr free from payment, but you instructed me to select payment methods and to add my card details. This means your going to charge me from my account now before enjoying my free time zone of one year?

    Hi there,

    There seems to be a confusion here.
    You can use WordPress.com for free using a free subdomain. If you, however, decide to purchase a paid plan and register a custom domain, you will be charged for one year upfront.
    The domain is included in the price of the plan during the first year so you will only start paying for it from the second year.
