Payment after free trial?

  What happens if I’m not happy with the premium version after the 2 week trial – do I still have to pay the annual fee? And is it then possible to get a refund if I do have to pay?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  After the trial no refund is available. You have 2 weeks to commit.

  To set up a 14 day free trial you can go to the following link, you will see buttons for “Try Now” or “Buy now” next to the Premium upgrade at the top.

  From Details and Terms:

  You can try any participating upgrade for a 14-day trial period, at no charge.

  You will be asked to provide payment information when starting the trial, but you will not be charged until the 14-day trial period is up. If you cancel before the period is up, you will not be charged at all.

  We will send you an email reminder one day before you will be charged.

  You can cancel trial upgrades under Store → My Upgrades in your dashboard at any time during the trial.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard to access Store → My Upgrades and Store → Billing History.

  Also note that any upgrade can be canceled at any time. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

  Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there.

  Thanks very much for the quick and comprehensive response. Where in the terms of service did you find that bit about the 14 day trial though? I can’t see it! Probably right in front of me somewhere!

  Hi there,

  If you cancel the WordPress.com Premium free trial before the trial period ends, you won’t be charged for the plan.

  In addition, all upgrades except the ones timethief mentioned (Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers) can be cancelled for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
