I created a Payment Block but when you click the payment button you see the following message:

By clicking “Pay Now”, you agree to create a WordPress.com account or use your existing WordPress.com account to manage this payment. You agree to our Terms of Service and authorize us to charge you once.

Our customers do not want to create a WordPress account. How can I get rid of this message.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Is this in reference to the payment buttons at the bottom of the membership page? While logged out of WordPress.com, I am not receiving that message, I am receiving the below:

This is what you want shown, correct? Please confirm and we’ll be happy to further assist if you are still having issues with the Payment Block.

    Thanks!

    Howdy –

Thanks for getting in touch. This sounds like it is working as expected but I’d like to take a closer look before confirming. Please point me to where this payment block is located on the site and I can take a proper look. I didn’t find it when clicking through the menu.

Y’all are off to a good start with this project! Congrats.

There are other ways to accept payments through your site but that would require an additional upgrade to your hosting plan. Depending on the amount of sales this may or may not be the right move. We can help you with any questions about managing a robust ecommerce solution for your site.

    Hi,
As I understand it, you are using the Donation Form Block. Indeed, creating a WordPress.com account is required to make a donation through this block, as documented here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/donations/#user-account-creation

If you want your customers to make payments without needing to create a WordPress.com account, you may want to consider using another Payment Block payment format as noted here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress- editor /blocks/payments/

However, it is worth remembering that each payment method may have its own restrictions.
I hope this information is helpful!
