Payment Button for Executable Downloads

  Hi –

  I want to confirm that the Personal Plan (paid WP plan) will allow me to offer downloads of executable files (a format not available in the Free Plan), in exchange for payments, in particular, in exchange for payments using the following plug in:

  https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/

  To be clear, I want users to be able to pay me for an executable file I’ve written for MacOS, and later for Windows.

  Hi Charles!

  The Payments block is available on any paid plan, so yes, you would be able to use it.

  As for the file, bear in mind that these are the only file formats that you can upload to your site:

  https://wordpress.com/support/accepted-filetypes/.

  If the file you’d like to send to people is not on the list, you won’t be able to create a downloadable link for it. You’d need to send the file manually or host it on another service.
