Payment by others

It is possible to have your editor, or others make payments for the blog without them seeing, or you seeing their credit info? If so how?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

it is tough to do – there is not any sort of “gift” to a blog for an upgrade – it has been ask for several times in the forum over a period of time
the only account that can renew an upgrade is the account that owns an upgrade – so you would almost need to transfer the upgrade to another Admin (they are the only one that can use the store) they renew the upgrade then transfer it back to you – yes it sucks
I will flag this for the staff for yet another vote to allow Editors or others to “gift” a renewal to a blog

That would be greatly appreciated. Gift would be great, but I also think it would be nice if someone who is listed on the team, such as editor, etc. the administrator could give permission to be able to make payments too. I’m guessing we are not the only blog with team members. Thanks so much, I’m praying for the change. :)

Hi there – Auxclass is correct, there’s not a way to do this currently, but I think that gift certificates or something similar would be awesome, too, and I hope we add it at some point. I’ll add your vote to the discussion. :)
If you would like an upgrade on a blog to be moved to your user account, so you can pay for it, we can do that for you. But you’d need to be an admin on the blog and we’d need the current owner to email us and request that we transfer the specific upgrade to your account.
