Payment domain plans

    Hello, am I able to receive the 50% promotion for a paid domain upgraded plan? Is this domain separate from the blog site name? Would like to purchase today if possible. Thanks.

    Hello. The Domain and the Plan are two separated things.

    A domain name is a custom address for your website or blog. You can register a new one, map or transfer an existing domain. To buy and host a domain at WordPress.com, visit this page https://wordpress.com/domains/manage. In that page you’ll see an Add a Domain button, click there and then “to this site” (if you’re logged on the site you want to add the domain). Search the domain name to buy it.
    Remember that you can own a domain by purchasing it. But, if you have a free WordPress.com plan, you cannot set the custom domain as your primary adress. To use as your primary adress, you’ll need a paid plan. If you purchase any annual plan, you’ll get the domain free for one year.
