Payment failure due to : unsupported currency ?

Hi
I have trouble upgrading to premium, as the payment page continues with the error:
‘This transaction cannot be processed due to an unsupported currency.’I use a valid and correct creditcard and cannot change the currency on the payment (It is stated in euros, by WordPress).

Thank you Timethief, I have tried the options as mentioned in the other thread, but I will not work, the payment menu keeps giving the prices in euros and not USD…I have no idea on how to change it.

Hi @klipperconsultancy – Can you let me know what type of card you’re trying to use (VISA, Amex, etc)? Also, have you tried another card other than the one you initially tried to make the payment with?

I am using the AMEX, and I do not have another card to try…
I have in the past used this same amex for other blogs and never had an issue before. I am quite at a loss, because I am now on the free trial for 30 days but am not able to purchase a premium theme either.

Hi @klipperconsultancy – This issue arises when you try to make a payment in euros with an AMEX. We’re aware of the issue, and will be fixing it in the future. I’ve sent you a manual payment request. Can you try making the payment for the Premium bundle through that form? Please let me know once you do!

My next question would be..I want to purchase a premium theme, the Mina Olen (http://minaolendemo.wordpress.com/) but experience the same issue – and I do not see a way to get rid of the euro!
It is possible I do a manual payment for this Mina Olen theme as well, so I can use this?Thank you!

Great! I’ve uploaded credits to your account that should cover the cost of the theme. Can you try to make the purchase now? You shouldn’t be asked to pay anything else for the theme.
